Barn Owl, 'Evening patrol'

The old cow shed in Evening Patrol is in an apple orchard on a country estate in East Devon. We used to live in one of the old cottages on the land and had free roam of its 200 plus acres. I tried to capture that magical time of the evening when the light is fading and long shadows stretch across the fields. Barn Owls do well in this part of Devon and are always a welcome sight. The original is acrylic on board 120cms x 60cms (48” x 24”). Original SOLD.
