Acrylic painting of a Red Kite being mobbed by Carrion Crows. I had the idea for this painting for quite a while but struggled with the composition. I eventually chose to have the kite's wings leading off the edge of the image to hopefully give it a sense of movement. I have also tried to balance the light and dark areas to help the composition.
