About the artist

Mike was born in Lancashire in 1970 and now lives in Devon with his young family.

Wildlife Art

I like to work on a large scale, mainly painting in acrylic on board. I have exhibited work at the Artists for Conservation 1st Annual Gala, the Mall Galleries, The Royal West of England Academy, Marwell International Wildlife Art Society and at the British Bird Fair. My work has sold both nationally and internationally and I am a signature member of Artists for Conservation. I have high quality Giclee Prints available of most pieces.

Illustration

I have worked as a freelance illustrator for the last 10 years. My illustrations have appeared in books, magazines, posters, brochures, leaflets and identification panels. They range from small scientific studies to large 4 metre murals. I am represented by the Wildlife Art Company
